Units of pressure are the units used to measure the pressure of a gas or other substance. There are a few different systems used.[1]

| Normal atmospheric pressure is 14.7 psi - a one-square-inch column of air weighs 14.7 pounds

| Atmosphere (atm)
| Normal atmospheric pressure is 1 atm = 14.6psi = 760 torr

| Torr
| Pressure to raise mercury in a column 1 mm
|
| Bar
| Nearly identical to 1 atm. 1 bar = 0.9869 atm
|
| Millibar (mb or mbar)
| 1,000 milibar = 1 bar
|
| Pascal (Pa)
| A pascal equals 1 Newton per square meter
|
| Kilopascal (kPa)
| A kilopascal is equal to 1,000 pascals
|
| Megapascal (MPa)
| A megapascal is equal to 1,000,000 pascals or 1,000 kPa
|
| Gigapascal (GPa)
| A gigapascal is equal to 1,000,000,000 pascals or 1,000 MPa
