Twin-arc Welding
From GAWDAwiki
In certain types of GMAW applications, it is desirable to utilize two separate wires/electrodes within a single torch when a significantly larger weld puddle is needed. Twin-arc welding uses this type of torch connecting both of its wires/electrodes to a single power source, effectively doubling the size of the weld puddle, as well as the overall weld joint size.[1][2]
