Tank

A tank is a piece of storage equipment used to house and transport gas. Tanks come in a wide variety of sizes with their proper construction and maintenance regulated by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). The gas inside the tank is accessed with the use of various valves.^[1] Tanks are designed for a certain capacity, pressure, and temperature and can be used in a variety of applications including compressor stations, manufacturing plants, and refineries. ^[2]
