Stack cutting

Jump to: navigation, search

Stack cutting, or stacking, is a technique used to increase the productivity of a machine cutting operation. Several plates are laid on top of each other and cut at the same time. For the process to work efficiently, there must be no gap between the plates. Plates are often clamped together to prevent this from happening.[1]
