Safety Mount

A safety mount is designed to prevent damage and downtime caused when a robotic torch strikes a work-piece or obstruction. It is adapted between the torch mounting device and the robot arm. The safety mount has a built-in switch to halt the robot arm's movement if significant resistance is detected.[1]
