Robotic fixturing is a process of securing a workpiece in a localized area.[1]

Robotic fixturing focuses on the localization accuracy of workpiece besides fixturing closure and stability.[2]

Robotic Fixturing refers to the mechanical device that “fixtures” or securely places the parts to be welded by the robot in the same place, time after time. Robotic Fixturing is often a clamp or pin. Placement must be accurate to insure the consistency of the robotic welding.[3]
