Resistance welding current

Resistance welding current is the current in the welding circuit during the making of a weld, but excluding preweld or postweld current.[1]

A resistance welding current consists of a unidirectional current impulse of chosen and adjustable duration which may be adjusted to suit the type of material to be welded.[2]
