From GAWDAwiki

Jump to: navigation, search

A pipe clamp is a clamp designed for holding two pieces of pipe together during the welding process.[1] They are also used as a bolted pipe attachment which clamps around the pipe to connect the pipe to the remainder of a pipe hanger assembly in a refinery or plant. [2] Pipe clamping systems accomplish the critical alignment and reforming of pipes and fittings for welding.[3]
