Pascal

From GAWDAwiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The Pascal is widely used unit of pressure. This is the S.I. unit, and equals a force of one Newton per square meter (in turn, a Newton is the force required to give a 1 kilogram mass an acceleration of 1 meter per second.) The Pascal is quite a small pressure, so Kilopascals (kPa) are often used. One kPa equals one thousand Pascals and 101.325 kPa equals one atmosphere.[1]
