Oxygen
Oxygen is a colorless, odorless gas. It is represented by the symbol O. Its most important property for use in industrial processes is that it supports combustion. Oxygen forms 21% by volume of the atmosphere. Oxygen has a relative density of 1.105.[1]

Oxygen is a product that can be used for welding two pieces of steel.[2]

As the required gas for animal respiration, oxygen is utilized in SCUBA gas gas mixtures at varying concentrations. It can be mixed with just nitrogen to form nitrox mixtures or with both nitrogen and helium to generate a trimix.
