Nickel welding alloys

Jump to: navigation, search

Nickel welding alloys can be joined by all types of welding methods, with the exception of forge welding and oxyacetylene welding. They can be welded under conditions similar to those used with austenitic stainless steels.[1]

Nickel base welding alloys are used in various forms from arc electrodes to MIG welding wires and sprayweld powders to join or repair dissimilar metals such as stainless steel to carbon steel and cast iron to carbon steels.[2]
