Medical gas manifold
From GAWDAwiki
A medical gas manifold is a piping network of valves, gauges and regulators housed in an enclosure to allow the dispensing of a particular medical gas at the correct pressure.[1]
Medical Gas Pressure Regulating Control Manifolds in hospital applications must meet NFPA99 guidelines and provide for the cryogenic bulk tank gas supply to switch to the back up reserve gas supply system and provide switches and local alarm panels to notify key staff when the primary tank has run low. Many times a high pressure cylinder reserve manifold or small cryogenic reserve tank is used for the back up reserve system.[2]
