Jump to: navigation, search

A Level II System is a gas system “serving occupancies where interruption of the piped medical gas and vacuum system would place patients at manageable risk of morbidity or mortality." (NFPA-99 2005: 3.3.92)[1]

Level 2 (M2). This level of welding mechanization means that a system has the capability to perform all the basic welding operations of subgroup 1.1, including torch travel operations. A self propelled welding tractor is an example of an M2 system.
