Gas detection equipment

Gas detection equipment is used in various industrial applications, from oil exploration and refining to water treatment and welding. Sometimes called “sniffers,” gas detection equipment provides protection from unsafe levels of combustible, toxic, and other gases.^[1] Gas detection equipment includes air samplers, leak detectors, and personal monitors^[2] and uses infrared, photoionization, catalytic combustion, metal oxide semiconductor and electrochemical technologies.^[3]
