The following content has been deemed unacceptable for GAWDAwiki. Unacceptable content that is posted will be removed from GAWDAwiki and action may be taken toward the user depending on the severity and regularity of offense(s).

Profanity or inappropriate slang

GAWDAwiki is intended to provide a safe and friendly environment for all users to freely share knowledge or information. Inclusion of offensive language should be avoided.

Promotion or criticism of a specific manufacturer's product

This wiki is not a place to advertise for new products or promote a specific company. It is also not a place to degrade a company or product. If you would like to include links to videos, white papers, spec sheets and news about a specific company, please visit the GAWDAwiki contact page, or email GAWDAwiki at contribute@gawdawiki.org.

Personal opinion on a subject or term

GAWDAwiki is a place for information and fact, not personal opinions on a particular subject or product. If you would like to discuss the content of an article, use the "discussion" page by clicking the "discussion" tab above the article.

Slander or libel

Entries should in no way diminish, degrade or implicate any organization or individual.

Copyrighted material that is not properly cited

Copyrighted material may not be included in the GAWDAwiki unless it is properly referenced. This includes information from books, manuals, brochures, Web sites or any other form of copyrighted media.

Biased entries

Entries that show an obvious persuasion either for or against a particular subject may be removed. All articles on controversial subjects should neutrally explain both sides of the controversy.

Pages for specific companies

Specific companies will not receive their own page in the GAWDAwiki Gases and Welding Wiki. Rather, a listing for every GAWDA supplier and distributor can be found in GAWDAwiki's searchable buyers directory.

Pages for specific people

Since this wiki is intended to be a resource for gases and welding equipment information, specific people (no matter how vital to the industry) will not receive a page. All users will have a user name and are welcome to personalize their profile. See Help: User page for more information.

Pages unrelated to gases and welding

GAWDAwiki is a resource for the gases and welding industry. Pages that are in no way related to gases and welding are subject to removal. Discussion pages are an excellent place to discuss the relevance of a page to the industry.

Unreferenced material

All material included in the wiki should be referenced. See referenced.
