Be advised: nothing found here has been reviewed by people with the expertise required to provide you with complete, accurate or reliable information. Notwithstanding the value to be found on this site, GAWDAwiki cannot guarantee the validity of the information found here. The content of any article can be changed, vandalized or altered by someone whose opinions and experience are not valid.

GAWDAwiki and copyrighted materials

Contributors’ rights and obligations

If you contribute material to GAWDAwiki, you thereby license it to the public under the Creative Commons-BY-NC-SA 3.0 license. Copyright violations

Contributors who repeatedly post copyrighted material despite appropriate warnings may be blocked from editing by a GAWDAwiki administrator to prevent further problems. If a page contains material which infringes copyright, that material in its entirety will be removed.

Content being used on GAWDAwiki without permission

If you are the owner of content that is being used on GAWDAwiki without your permission, then you may request the page be immediately removed from GAWDAwiki by contacting us at copyrights@GAWDAwiki.org. You may also contact us via the information provided on the Contact Us page on this site either by mail or phone to have it permanently removed (but it may take up to a week for the page to be deleted that way). You will need to provide evidence to support your claim of ownership. Contributors who repeatedly post copyrighted material despite appropriate warnings will be blocked from editing by a GAWDAwiki administrator to prevent further problems. If you suspect a copyright violation, you should notify us at copyrights@GAWDAwiki.org immediately. The most helpful piece of information you can provide is a URL or other reference to what you believe may be the source of the text. If some, but not all, of the content of a page appears to be a copyright infringement, then all pages of the work will be removed. If the copyright holder’s permission is later obtained, the text may be restored. In limited circumstances, GAWDAwiki administrators may delete obvious copyright violations on sight.

Copyright owners

If you are a copyright owner or represent a copyright owner, and you believe that GAWDAwiki is infringing your copyright, we can assist you best via e-mail. You may contact copyrights@GAWDAwiki.org with an informal request. Please cite the exact URL (the "address" or "location" of the page as shown by your Web browser, beginning with http://www.gawdawiki.org/...), and provide enough information to substantiate your claim of copyright ownership. No one may contribute materials owned by others

If you are not the copyright holder of the material, you cannot provide GAWDAwiki with rights to the materials. Material found to have any possible question about our right to include it will be removed from this site immediately. Material that is cut and pasted from other Web sites is not allowed, unless the material is public domain or carries a copyleft notice that is CC-BY-NC-Sa compliant. GAWDAwiki will not publish work that is untested research or that is unverifiable through other sources.
