Flow rate

Flow rate is the volume per time unit given to the flow of gases or other fluid substances which emerge from an orifice, pump or turbine, or pass along a conduit or channel. [1] Also used in repetitive manufacturing environments to represent the amount of production per shift or hour.[2]
