Flared cups

Flared cups also known as T-11 cups are used for heavy stock removal and weld grinding. They will significantly outlast depressed center grinding wheels. Standard sizes are 4", 5", and 6" diameter. They have a 5/8-11 arbor so they can be mounted on right angle grinders. The steel plate on the back edge holds the internal thread and provides an element of safety. Always use an approved tool guard when grinding with flared cups.^[1]
