(Redirected from Filler)
Jump to: navigation, search

Filler metal is metal added in making a welded, brazed or soldered joint.[1] Some of the more common filler metals include tin, lead, silver, lead-free, cadmium-free, sil-phos, copper, aluminum, nickel and jewelers gold.[2]

The correct filler metal use is determined by the type of metal being welded and the type of welding being used.[3]
