From GAWDAwiki

Jump to: navigation, search

A composite cable is a unitized cable construction typical of GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW and plasma, where by power, control functions, shielding gas or water cooling (if used), and transfer of welding wire/electrode (if used) are combined into one concentric cable. Such designs allow for ease of use while maintaining flexibility for the operator.[1]
