In welding, protective clothing keeps the welder's body shielded from hazards related to welding.^[1] See also personal protection equipment. Protective clothing for welding normally is constructed of leather or flame resistant cotton. Clothing options include jackets, sleeves, shoe covers, aprons, and bib aprons.^[2]
