Cellulosic electrode

From GAWDAwiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Cellulosic electrodes are electrodes whose coatings contain organic materials that convert to gases in the arc. Cellulose makes up about 30% of the coating weight. When the cellulose burns, it forms an excellent shielding gas protective atmosphere. These electrodes can be used in any position, so they are very versatile.[1]
