Ceiling column

A ceiling column is a structure mounted to the ceiling that allows for medical gases and electrical connections. The column may only be moved up and down. Ceiling columns may be fixed (rigid), manual retractable or powered retractable. They are most often found in surgical areas and ICUs.[1]
