Carbon capture and storage
From GAWDAwiki
Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is an artificial form of sequestration that prevents carbon emissions by capturing the gases and either chemically changing them or diverting them underground or in deep ocean water.[1]
Some groups debate the need for carbon capture and storage,[2] and the U.S. Department of Energy maintains several CCS research and development programs.[3]
