Backup pads

From GAWDAwiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Backup pads are used to mount abrasive discs on power tools. The typically are used for resin fiber sanding discs, hook & loop discs, PSA discs, and SCD discs. No abrasive disc should be used with a power tool without the proper backup pad. Safety demands that the proper backup pad be selected for the each abrasive.[1]
