Air Products purchased a 67 percent majority stake in Indura S.A. for $884 million. The transaction is expected to enhance Air Products’ growth opportunities and be accretive to Air Products earnings per share in fiscal 2013. Indura has annual sales of $478 million and more than 2,300 employees, over 20 production plants, over 40 filling sites and more than 100 retail outlets. “Air Products’ investment in Indura continues our strategy to expand our global presence in high growth regions with strong local partners,” says John E. McGlade, Air Products chairman, president and CEO.
