Toyota Sticks With Manual Welding - 2/8/2012
Automakers throughout the world are increasingly turning to automation, including robotic welding, as a way to reduce long-term costs. In addition to automated processes, Toyota continues to use manual welding and painting, according to The Economic Times. The automaker believes that people are adaptable than machines, indicating that the company remains flexible to adapt to changes in the environment by reducing overhead and technology.
