Man Commits Oxygen Fraud - 2/3/2012
According to police, a man has been using the company name of Medair to fraudulently sell medical oxygen purifiers, warranties and service packages to people, including seniors, as reported by CBC News. The accused told customers that their current medical oxygen provider has gone out of business and Medair was taking over the contracts, police said. Legitimate companies also told police they were victimized.
