Lincoln Electric announced an agreement with WorldSkills International (WSI) to become an official Global Industry Partner. The event features a welding competition under the Manufacturing & Engineering Technology skill category, where participants will have to fabricate various mild steel pieces, including a pipe, plate and T-fillet joint. The positions and processes will be randomly determined at the competition site. Lincoln Electric will be the exclusive welding supplier of this event, which will take place from Oct. 5-8 at ExCel London, an international exhibition and convention center located in the heart of London’s Royal Docks.
