Lincoln Posts Highest Sales Ever - 2/20/2012
Lincoln Electric reported Fourth Quarter 2011 net income of $57.7 million. Sales were $694.5 million in the Fourth Quarter 2011 versus $564.3 million in the comparable 2010 period, an increase of 23.1%.
“Our 2011 sales represent the highest level in company history and mark the second consecutive year over year increase of more than 20 percent,” says CEO John M. Stropki. "Despite this volatile climate, we enter 2012 with good momentum, particularly in North America, our largest segment, where the overall manufacturing environment continues to improve. We remain focused on our global growth strategies, which include acquisitions, new product introductions and increasing our commercial presence.”
