Hyundai Fronts Hydrogen Race - 9/2/2010
Hyundai announced that the hydrogen-powered i-Blue model will hit the market in 2012. Volumes are expected to be limited for the first two years, with volume targeting 10,000 in 2015. In-house development is expected to keep the model at an affordable price. Depending on the cost, the i-Blue could spring Hyundai ahead of Toyota in the race for an affordable fuel cell vehicle, who announced a target of 2015 for a sub-$50,000 hydrogen fuel cell car.
