Heroism a Breath of Fresh Air - 1/26/2010
A medical engineer has been praised as a hero after trekking through the snow to deliver oxygen cylinders to patients who rely on them to breathe.
Rob Senior, who delivers cylinders to homes across South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire, woke to find his van stuck in the snow outside his Parson Cross home.
The 40-year-old, who works as a medical engineer for Air Products, knew he had patients in desperate need of a fresh oxygen supply, so he rang them all up to establish who needed new cylinders most urgently, to decide who to walk to first.
