Welding Program Guarantees Apprenticeships - 7/27/2010
Wilcox Central High School in Camden, AL, is offering a free welding program for unemployed adults. The training classes run for ten weeks, after which participants are guaranteed welding apprenticeships at local companies. The program was created to proactively address the 24 percent unemployment rate of Wilcox County, AL.
