Students at Yakima, Washington’s Eisenhower High School showed off their skills by making metal roses for Valentine’s Day to raise money for the school’s welding club. The metal flowers are cut from a metal sheet using a CNC cutting machine before being grinded and sanded. Petals and pre-made leaves are welded onto a metal stem and then pliers are used to bend the petals, turning them into art. A final coat of paint finishes off the roses.
