The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Small Business Jobs Act by a vote of 237-187 on Thursday, September 23. The bill moves to the desk of President Obama before it becomes law. Obama has been an outspoken proponent of the bill. He recently urged the U.S. Senate to pass the issue after three months of debate.

The bill includes $30 billion dollars in small business loan funding and aims to create 500,000 jobs.
