Scott-Gross Acquires Sparkling Carbonic

Winchester, KY — Scott-Gross Company acquired the gas and cylinder distribution assets of Sparkling Carbonic of Cincinnati, OH. The acquired business services industrial gas and beverage grade carbon dioxide accounts throughout the greater Cincinnati, OH, and Northern Kentucky regions. "We value the contributions owners Dave and Paul Kleier have made growing the Sparkling Carbonic business since 1976, and know they embody the same level of commitment to customer service and excellence that has made Scott-Gross successful," says Scott-Gross President George Golliday.

Sparkling Carbonic’s history traces back to 1976 when originally started by Paul Kleier, Sr. His sons, Paul Kleier, Jr. and Dave Kleier will continue to operate their cylinder testing and service business under the new name of Complete Cylinder Services, Inc., located at 1240 Glendale-Milford Road, Cincinnati, OH 45215.

With its expansion into this marketplace, Scott-Gross will diversify and expand its product offering to Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. A new Scott-Gross facility is now open at 1210 Glendale-Milford Road, Cincinnati, OH located just off of Exit 14 on I-75. In addition to compressed gas cylinder production and distribution, the new 18,000sf Cincinnati facility has a retail showroom and warehouse featuring beverage grade carbon dioxide products, propane, gas apparatus, safety and welding equipment from the industry’s leading manufacturers.
