Register for Asheville SMC

- 4/10/2009
The Asheville Spring Management Conference (SMC) is coming up quickly, but there is still time to register.

Educational sessions will cover a wide range of business concerns ranging from cylinder tracking to workers’ compensation. Ray Shook of the American Welding Society will even be there to discuss actions being taken to address the anticipated welding shortage in the coming years. These informative and interactive presentations will provide attendees with many new ideas to take home to apply to their businesses.

The conference’s networking events offer something for everyone. If golf is your game, you won’t want to miss this year’s tournament at the Course at Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa, rated among the top ten courses 100 years or older by Golf Digest. In addition, the annual spouse event features a breathtaking tour of America’s largest home, the famed Biltmore House. Attendees will also join GAWDA President Britt Lovin and his wife, Julie, at the President’s Reception and engage with colleagues at networking meals and breaks throughout the conference.

The Young Executive Workshop is what really sets the Asheville SMC apart from other industry events. This specialized portion of the conference is designed specifically to address the concerns of GAWDA’s young leaders and help them build the knowledge base needed to succeed. This one-of-a-kind event is one young members won’t want to miss.
