Praxair Named Clean-Tech Leader - 5/11/2012
Maplecroft Climate Innovation Indexes named Praxair, Inc. as one of the top 10 leaders among the 360 largest U.S. companies in the innovation of clean-tech solutions and new products, the mitigation of climate change related risks and the management of carbon emissions.
According to Maplecroft, the CIIs will enable investors to identify the most resilient and innovative companies with the best long-term growth prospects. They do so by highlighting companies that are innovating products, services, processes or partnerships in order to re-shape markets and position themselves to succeed in the climate-changed, low-carbon environment of the future.
“Praxair is honored to once again be included in this Index. It is a tribute to our applications that enable the development of clean technologies, including renewable energy and biofuels; and to the investments that we are making toward sustainable productivity,” says Riva Krut, Praxair’s director of sustainability.
