Lehigh Valley, PA – Air Products Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Paul Huck was named Senior Financial Officer (SFO) of the Year by Chemical Week Magazine at their 14th Annual SFO Conference. Huck also was a keynote speaker at the conference, presenting on the topic, “The Role of a CFO in a Turbulent Economy.”

Chemical Week’s SFO of the Year award acknowledges the senior finance executive who has made an outstanding contribution to business in the chemical industry through vision and leadership, corporate reporting and performance, quality of communication to stakeholders, social responsibility, innovation and global competitiveness. A survey of Chemical Week editors and industry analysts chooses the winner.

“Analysts cited Paul Huck and Air Products for a commitment to capital discipline, the strength of the company’s balance sheet, and the quality of financial reporting and investor communication,” says Robert Westervelt, Chemical Week editor-in-chief.

“I am delighted to receive this honor,” Huck says.
