The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration has published revised checklists for applications for special permits, which provide alternative methods for complying with the DOT’s Hazardous Materials Regulations.

There are three separate checklists: one for new SP applications and applications for modifications, one for SP renewal applications and a third for party status applications. The purpose of the checklists is to ensure that applicants have met all of the regulatory requirements for the applications.
