Linde North American will sponsor Safety Day, an event that will focus on cryogenic and compressed gas safety. The industrial gas Safety Day will be held at the DuBois campus of Pennsylvania State University on Wednesday, July 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

“As part of our Responsible Care program, we regularly train customers, fire departments, emergency management agencies and others on the safety issues involved in the use and handling of industrial gases,” says Ray Serafini, account manager for Linde North America. “DuBois is a perfect venue for the Safety Day because of the high concentration of industrial gas users in the area,” Serafini says.

The morning session will feature Linde technical experts, who will discuss the properties, characteristics and potential hazards of industrial gases. The afternoon session will feature hands-on training with cryogenic gases to emphasize the properties of the gases.
