Regional governments across Italy are progressively adopting legislation that could help build a hydrogen fuel infrastructure by requiring service stations to provide alternative fuels. In Tuscany, fueling stations are required to install 12 kW of photovoltaic capacity and to provide either methane, LPG or hydrogen fuel. Photovoltaic hydrogen-generators meet both of these requirements and present a solution for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
