GAWDA Sets Up Foundation to Develop Workforce - 9/10/2012
Over the past few months, GAWDA members raised $11,000 for the newly formed GAWDA Foundation. This amount is in addition to $100,000 funded by the Board of Directors. Thirty percent of monies raised will be used to fund scholarships. GAWDA's goal is to continue to develop the industry workforce, and scholarships will be awarded to distributor, supplier, or end-users. Scholarships totaling $30,000 will be announced at the 2013 Spring Management Conference.
