FIBA Issued Int'l Permit

Millbury, MA - FIBA Technologies has been issued a Permit for Equivalent Level of Safety by Transport Canada (TC) which allows the company’s UN tubes (manufactured per ISO Standard 11120) to transport hazardous materials within both the U.S. and Canada.

Without the permit, large tubes would need to be dual marked with approval stamps from both the U.S. DOT and TC. The international marking, however, allows FIBA’s tubes to transport hazardous materials (e.g. high-pressure gases) across the border between the U.S. and Canada without the requirement of separate permits.
