Wade Smith was named vice president of operations for Direct Wire & Cable, Inc. Smith comes to Direct Wire from Amazon.com where he served as site leader for a 700,000 sq. ft. fulfillment center with 500 employees and 24/7 operation. “We are thrilled to have Wade here at Direct Wire & Cable,” says Eric Laubach, president of marketing and sales. “We look forward to using his experience and energy toward our success.”

Smith began his career in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, at R.R. Donnelley as regional supply chain manager. He is a 1991 graduate of West Point where he received a Bachelor of Science in Management and Engineering.
