Beverage CO2 Leak Kills Woman

A Georgia McDonald’s was the site of a carbon dioxide leak that led to the death of an eighty-year-old woman. The pipes that carry excess carbon dioxide to storage tanks in a back room became disconnected, causing the gas to flow into the women’s restroom. The carbon dioxide tanks had been refilled shortly before the incident occurred.
