Welding cell

Welding cells are groups of welding equipment that allow for robotic welding operations. A typical weld cell consists of the following:

1. A rotating or oscillating device which transports a weld fixture from a loading area to the work envelope and then transports a finished piece from the work envelope to an operator
2. Two or more weld fixtures
3. A robot
4. An enclosure to provide safe operating conditions for workers.^[1]
