Ball valve
From GAWDAwiki

A ball valve is a valve in which a spherical ball (sometimes spring-loaded) is used to block flow. If a spring is not used, reverse flow is used to move the ball back and create a seal. Interior walls are usually conically tapered to direct the ball into the seat.[1]
