Agglomerated flux

Agglomerated flux, in submerged arc welding, is a granular flux produced by baking a pelletized mixture of powdered ingredients and bonding agents at a temperature sufficient to remove the water, followed by processing to produce the desired particle size. See also bonded flux and fused flux.^[1]
