Abrasive

The term abrasive refers to a material consisting of hard particles used to wear down, rub away or machine material.[1]

Common abrasive materials are pumice and emery.[2]

Abrasive tools include quick change discs, flap wheels, cartridge rolls, fibre discs and non-woven wheels, brushes, flap discs, hand pads and sanding belts.[3]
